FINANCIAL RESOURCE PLAN Dear friends, UCMS Alumni is very much interested in providing a platform to create a strong bond among its members, solve problems, provide support and mentor the young alumni members. Some new initiatives undertaken this year are 1. Members Outreach Program (MOP). 2. Decentralisation - Five zones North, East, West, South and Central have been created for closer interaction. 3. Alumni Groups of Haryana, United Kingdom (UK - EU) and America are in various stages. 4. Medical education reforms 5. Interaction with UCMS students and Interns. 6. Greater involvement with alumni resident doctors in GTB Hospital. 7. Blog of alumni is functional and can be accessed on www.ucmsalumni.com. Financial constraints have become the limiting factor in the activities of the alumni. Our alumni members have made tremendous achievements and are financially sound. They can easily spare a small amount of money for the alumni. Every donor desires that the funds should be well utilised and not wasted. We assure you of this. The plan is to request the alumni members to volunteer a fixed amount as donation every year for 3 years. This can be given by cheque /electronic transfer. The funds so collected would be duly acknowledged. At least 50% of these funds would be kept in a fixed deposit and only the interest from it will be utilised by the alumni.
